Entrance into LINAFI

LINAFI is opened to young Cameroonians and foreigners of both sex of 18 years old or above, and holder of GCE Advance level in sciences or Baccalauréat (C; D; E; F). Entrance is through a HIGHLY competitive examination jointly launched by the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries and the Ministry of Higher Education.

During the written phase of the entrance exams, Fisheries-Navigation and marine engineering candidates sit in for physics and mathematics while fisheries technology candidates sit in biology and chemistry papers. The general knowledge and language papers are for all specialties. For the pioneer batch; 2016/2017, 25 candidates were finally admitted into each specialty.
